Why WOW Digital Implements Project Phases?
All WOW Digital projects move through each of the five phases regardless of their size.
The decision to officially divide your project into phases is an excellent way to manage the team’s focus, allocate resources and align the entire life cycle with clients and stakeholders to ensure transparency of the project journey and its ultimate success.
Project Initiation & Discovery Phase
During this phase, the project aims to align stakeholders and teams on success criteria. Internal and external stakeholders are involved in a collaborative workflow and system discovery process. Through workshops, a comprehensive project brief is developed, securing future project scope and deliverables.
Project Planning Phase
After defining expectations and success criteria, the Project Planning phase begins. The project team delves into ICT requirements, workflow tasks, timelines, and actions. Finalizing the project scope based on available resources and priorities ensures a robust design and implementation brief. Managed phases lead to stakeholder sign-offs at each stage.
Project Execution Phase
In this phase, the WOW Digital team executes the agreed design brief. Coordination with stakeholders, resource tracking, and phased delivery updates are prioritized. Quality Assurance documentation, meeting minutes, and change requests are introduced. Adjustments to the original brief may occur, requiring vigilant change management to address project creep and cost implications.
Development Project Closure Phase
The final phase concludes all project-related activities. Submission of a final deliverable fulfills contractual obligations, transitioning the development phase to WOW Digital’s support team for the agreed term.
Training and Transition
Ensuring proficiency from project inception, hands-on training is provided to employees across operational areas. A workshop-based strategy, proven successful during development, is applied. Department-specific training includes testing and certification processes. A small group of super users is established, supported by WOW’s ongoing capability and the replication of interactive workshops during a full onsite training week.
